Registration
Spring 2024
Registration is now open for all students in grades 7-12 interested in participating in spring 2024 athletics. Spring sports officially begin on Monday, March 4, 2024, for the following PIAA sports: baseball, softball, girls' lacrosse, boys' lacrosse, track and field, boys' tennis and boys' volleyball.
The process for families to register students for participation in grades 7-12 sports at Pine-Richland is 100% online through Healthy Roster. We offer three registration windows—one for fall sports, one for winter sports and one for spring sports. Families are to follow the guidance below to register for each sports season. This is the collection process for all PIAA and AHN paperwork for interscholastic and club sports for grades 7-12. Healthy Roster is a user-friendly “one-stop-shop” for families and makes for clear communication and efficient use of our resources.
Spring 2024 sports registration must be completed by Monday, February 26, 2024. All physicals must be dated after June 1, 2023, and need to be completed/submitted prior to the first official practice date.
*If your child is a two or three-sport athlete, you will only need to register on Healthy Roster one time. For the 2nd or 3rd sport, please indicate that on your initial registration. This will help us manage our winter and spring sports rosters in advance of those seasons.
Failure to complete the Healthy Roster registration process (which includes submitting your physical exam paperwork) could result in student-athletes being withheld from practice.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I still turn in paper copies of the sports physical packet to the Athletic Office?
A: No. All paperwork must be submitted online via Healthy Roster. The PR Athletic Office, by appointment, can help you set up an account and walk you through the steps, but all paperwork must be submitted online.
Q: Why can’t I fill out PIAA CIPPE–Section 6 online?
A: PIAA CIPPE – Section 6 is the actual physical that requires a physician’s signature and cannot be completed electronically. This form must be downloaded, printed, filled out by your doctor, and then uploaded to your Healthy Roster account. Please see instructions in your Healthy Roster account.
Q: Do the forms in the sports physical packet need to be completed prior to voluntary off-season workouts?
A: No. All paperwork is due prior to the first official day of practice.
Q: If I have health insurance other than Highmark (i.e. UPMC, Cigna, United Healthcare, Aetna, etc.), do I need to complete the AHN HIPPA release and the AHN Consent to Treat forms?
A: Yes. These forms are necessary for our certified athletic trainers to provide treatment and care to all student-athletes in the Pine-Richland School District.
Q: Will physicals be offered at Pine-Richland?
A: No. All physicals must be completed by your primary care physician or another medical facility. AHN will also hold one date prior to each season located at one of their local facilities.
