Donna Stephenson

Varsity Head Coach

Donna Stephenson has been involved with Pine-Richland Field Hockey since its beginning in 2004. She oversaw the program from club sport to a fully funded sport that was accepted into the WPIAL in 2007. She served as head coach 2004-2009 and returned to the helm in 2014. The program won its first WPIAL championship in 2017 and has repeated 2019-2023. 

Donna earned a BS in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) where she played collegiate field hockey and was inducted in to the Rensselaer Athletic Hall of Fame. She also earned a Masters of Science in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Donna works for Hunter Associates as a project manager specializing in technology integration. Besides field hockey, her passions are pilates and listening to health and wellness podcasts.

Laura Peery

Varsity First Assistant

Laura Peery has been coaching for the Pine Richland Field Hockey team since 2013.  She got her start in field hockey at North Allegheny High School. She then attended Washington and Jefferson College, where she played both Field Hockey and Lacrosse and earned her degree in Elementary Education. She currently works at Quaker Valley Middle School in the Special Education department and as the Head Girls Lacrosse coach in the spring. In the winter, she coaches for Team Golden Triangle, an indoor travel field hockey club. Laura has helped lead the Rams to 6 WPIAL Championships as well as 8 state playoff berths.  She can be reached at peerylb@gmail.com.
